I noticed that ANet has scaled my entry down to a size where you can't really see any details ... if anybody liked the Gwen puppet show (#5) then high resolution versions can be found on the project page for another week or so before I close it down (say hello to Jeremy the bear as well if you visit the site).
Now that I have more than enough Gwen-chan puppets I wonder what I should make next

Congratulations to all the winnners! Especially the ones at Nolani Academy. It is really neat to see your names in lights.
Thanks also for everyone's help at Nolani's academy. My piece didn't make it this year either but I still enjoy it and enjoyed making it, which is really what it should be all about anyhow.

I agree with you. Combined with the fact that the Halloween contest had winners that didn't even follow the rules and I've lost faith in ANet contests at this point. Oh well, who cares.
Glad to see people from here won because they deserved it.

Soooomeone didn't feel like posting this here because she's such a perfectionist and didn't feel it belonged so I'm posting it for her:
For someone who's never worked with modelling clay I think it turned out nice (and cute).

@Zidane888: Aww, that's really cute, especially the polar bear. I've always appreciated real, hand-made stuff more than shiny 3D CG.

Some amazing winners this year! wowow.
As always though, I feel bad for those that made fantastic entries and didn't land a spot on the website. stouda01, Minami, Tenebrae, Sephios, Chyminy Riquet and zidane888 your work is amazing in my opinion.
Dzjudz, your entry reminds me of an adventure game from the 90s
the 2 winners that made me laugh were:
Tanja - Germany: thats not divinity's reach. it's de_chateau!!! if you look carefully, you can see someone already planted the bomb.
Matthew J. - Canada: the female derv and mesmer was pretty kinky. i was hoping it was a woman that drew it, and that she'd leave her phone number, alas, another day.

That's highly subjective...nothing clear about it. I would have put the grand-prize winner in the bottom half of the ones Anet posted. I thought this one was the best out of those that won:

Awesome!
I wonder if "Mary Sanford - Norway" actually became that blue from just standing in the cold wearing that!

honestly, my favourite entry was
http://www.guildwars.com/events/cont...9/mention6.php
maybe im biased because im canadian, maybe im biased because at my high school in grade 12 art we make huge murals that I,
if this was made to scale with our murals, I would just... die.
its still my favourite
originally i was going to enter, I started drawing up some ideas (most in my head), but never got around to completing it.
idea:
new dwayna and grenth costumes but with T.T faces, where whos taking their glory?
Ol' Saint 'Nicholas' () and his trust 'reindeer' ()
